A CHELEMSLEY Wood dance troupe took centre stage on board a luxury cruise ship sailing around the Norwegian Fjords.
Spotlight Stage School wowed an international audience over the summer with a special 30 minute show at sea.
Following their appearances on Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals in 2018, 2020 and 2022, Spotlight Stage School the 25-strong dance crew were chosen as the first amateur dance group from the Midlands to be invited to stage their own show.
Principal, Vicky Richards, said “Dozens of Spotlight Stage School graduates have secured jobs as professional cruise ship dancers and performed all over the world on these magnificent ships.
“All the current pupils look up to these former pupils as it’s every young dancer’s dream.
“I couldn’t believe it when I was asked to supply dancers who were still in training, and jumped at the opportunity.”
The school have also performed around Europe, including at Disneyland Paris and have won 19 world titles in Germany, Romania, France, Spain and Jersey.
