RESIDENTS at Harper Fields care home in Balsall Common took to the road last week for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
They went for lunch to The Auction House in Coventry for a pub lunch.
“The team at The Auction House made us so welcome,” said Sharon McKintosh the home’s activities co-ordinator.
“A special thank you to Andrea and Simon for making us feel so welcome and to the lovely Jack for serving us so well.”
The first round of drinks was delivered by Jack to the table and the laughter and chatter started and continued until they left later that afternoon.
Harper Fields is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.
