BELLWAY South Midlands hosted a charity golf day at Olton Golf Club that has raised more than £10,000 for Cancer Research UK.
The day saw a Bellway team teeing off against various sides from other local businesses including eventual winners PGE Landscaping.
Team Bellway featured former Aston Villa player and Sky Sports pundit Lee Hendrie.
There was also an auction offering an experience at some of the best golf courses in the country, as well as a Heads or Tails fundraising event which raised more than £800.
Cancer Research UK is Bellway’s nominated national charity and they are looking to raise £3million for them by the end of 2023.
They have raised more than £1.95million for the charity since 2016.
Bellway South Midlands head of sales Elaine Brown said: “This charity golf day was a great opportunity for our staff and suppliers to enjoy a fun day out while raising funds for an extremely worthy cause.
“The event was a resounding success, and it was great to see so many local businesses and people come together to help us get closer to our target.”
