SILHILLIANS are being invited to a join in coronation celebrations.
Residents and staff at Churchill Retirement Living’s Bower Lodge development will be hosting a King’s Coronation Tea Party on May 3.
From 2pm until 4pm there will be music, fizz and refreshments to get the celebrations underway for the historic occasion, and special King’s Coronation ‘goody bags’ will be handed out while stocks last at the Stratford Road site.
Churchill’s marketing manager Bernadette Hennelly said: “We’re excited to welcome everyone to our special Coronation Tea Party to look forward to this historic national event that few of us are old enough to have experienced before.”
