CCTV images released after security guard attacked at Solihull station

CCTV images have been released after a security guard was attacked at Solihull station.

The incident happened at 10.45pm on Monday, June 17.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Two men are reported to have entered the station and attempted to steal a bicycle by cutting its lock with a pair of bolt cutters.

“When challenged by the security guard they both became verbally abusive with one trying to hit the victim with a belt.




“No contact was made.

“They left when the guard phoned the police.


“Officers believe the two men in the images may have information that could help their investigation.

“Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference 715 of 17/06/19.”
