A CAT has been shot in Solihull.

The attack on the cat named Yondu happened in the St Alphege area.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating reports a cat was shot with an air rifle in the St. Alphege area of Solihull.

“The cat’s owner reported it to police on August 1 after the pellet was removed by vets.




“But it’s believed the incident happened on Saturday, July 3 in the vicinity of Bryanston Road.

“The cat, named Yondu, is expected to make a full recovery.
