Solihull Editorial 5th Apr, 2016 Updated: 21st Oct, 2016

THESPIANS from Solihull School wowed sell-out audiences with their performance of the hit musical Carousel.

Bringing the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic to the independent school on Warwick Road, the cast of over 50 senior school pupils delivered five performances of the award-winning show.

James Hammond, head of drama at the school, said: “Carousel is a wonderful show which includes a number of well-known musical numbers – most noteably You’ll Never Walk Alone.

“I’m incredibly proud of our students who showcased their fantastic talent for both drama and music.

“I’m sure that the audiences would agree that they equalled – if not surpassed – the quality of many professional performances.”
