Can you help support Marie Curie nurses this Christmas?

Solihull Editorial 3rd Dec, 2016   0

MARIE Curie is asking the generous people of Solihull to organise a festive fundraising activitiy to help support their local Marie Curie Nurses this Christmas.

All the money raised from the activity will help Marie Curie Nurses provide vital care and support for people living with a terminal illness, and their families, helping them make the most of the time they have together.

Across Christmas, they will spend time away from their own loved ones to care for people living with a terminal illness, in their own home.

Christmas can be an especially difficult time for people affected by terminal illness.

The Marie Curie Support Line (0800 090 2309) provides free, confidential support and practical information and will be open throughout the festive period – including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

If you feel inspired to take on your own festive challenge to support Marie Curie, you can download an ideas pack at mariecurie.org.uk/festive fundraising, or call local community fundraiser Amy McNaughton-Brown for support on 0121 703 3715.
