SCRUMPTIOUS cakes were baked and sold by a group of kind-hearted youngsters in aid of The Greyhound Trust.
Sisters Eleanor, Lydia and Annabelle Davis, helped by their cousins Erin and Jack, organised and ran a cake sale and raised £192 in honour of retired racing dogs.
Eleanor, aged 10, said: “I want to support the Greyhound Trust because when they retire from running they need a kind and restful place to live after a hard life.
“So we are raising money to make it a better place for them.”
The children spend the coffers on dog food and took it to the kennels on Old Damson Lane near Elmdon.
All five children wanted to say a big thank you to the neighbours who purchased cakes and supported them.
