A BUSINESS conference hosted by the Solihull Business Improvement District has become the latest event to be called off due to coronavirus fears.
The Solihull Business Expo, at the Ramada Hotel on New Road, has been postponed by organisers.
They have set a date in October to replace the conference on March 18.
A spokeswoman for the Expo said: “As the Government moves into the ‘delay’ mode for the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the response within the business community is varied and complex.
“Solihull BID has considered those responses, and the impact of the virus, and made the decision to postpone the Solihull Business Expo due to be held on March 18 at the Ramada Hotel, Solihull.
“The next few months will be challenging for all and we would like to thank in advance the people and businesses involved in the event for their understanding and we feel confident that the now ‘Autumn’ Expo to be held on October 8 will be a huge success with numbers higher than ever.
