THE BULLS Head in Hall Green has raised vital funds for Cerebral Palsy Midlands (CPM) and helped support ‘The Weoley Big Night Out’ fundraising event.

The pub staff put down the pints and took part in a weekend of activities – including a charity car wash, waxing event and a staff vs regulars football match just to name a few- raising a total of £522.43.

The Weoley Big Night Out, which will take place on November 12 at Weoley Castle Social Club, has been set up to raise funds and help people living with cerebral palsy and other related disabilities across the borough.

The fundraiser will be an opportunity for people who use the service, friends and family to come together for a night of entertainment and raise awareness about the charity.

A long-list of bands – including The Old Raskals, The Supreme Showgirls and The Naked Butlers – will also be making a star appearance to help raise as much money as possible.

A spokesperson for CPM said: “We are delighted to receive the donation from The Bulls Head.

“The Bulls Head has previously raised money from collections at the bar and donated time to helping planting and gardening in our newly opened garden.”
