AN APPEAL against the sentence of convicted breast surgeon Ian Paterson is to be heard by the Court of Appeal.
The 59-year-old was sentenced to 15 years in prison after he was convicted of 17 counts of wounding with intent and three counts of unlawful wounding against ten patients.
The rogue surgeon worked at hospitals run by the Heart of England NHS Trust and also practiced privately at Bupa hospitals in Solihull and Sutton Coldfield, latterly run by Spire Healthcare.
