A PARACHUTE jump from 14,000ft by staff and directors at Hunters Estate Agency has helped the firm to its £50,000 fund-raising target for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Over the last few years staff have taken part in bike rides, been mountain climbing and held sponsored bake offs on their way to the sizeable donation to what is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to stopping women dying from breast cancer.

The money was handed over to Rachel Hodson from Breakthrough who thanked the team for their efforts.

John Ozwell, chairman of Hunters Group Ltd, he was very proud of everyone who was involved in raising such a large sum of money and thanked businesses, friends and families who had supported the staff in their various challenges.

David Curwen, Hunters newly appointed managing director, has also revealed plans for more charitable events during the year as part of the company’s ongoing policy of giving away part of their income to good causes.
