Boy in hospital after vicious attack at Castle Bromwich school

A TEENAGE boy is recovering in hospital after he was attacked when leaving school.

The 15-year-old was assaulted outside Park Hall Academy in Castle Bromwich.

One pupil who witnessed the violence said the attackers jumped out of a car to set upon the boy.

Park Hall Associate Headteacher Dr Close said: “We can confirm there was an incident involving two youths unknown to the school, who came onto the school premises and assaulted a pupil in Year 11. No knife was involved.”




A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating after a schoolboy was attacked outside Park Hall Academy on Water Orton Road yesterday (January 23) just after 3pm.

“The 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with several injuries that are not believed to be serious after being attacked by two boys.
