BIRMINGHAM City striker Marvin Ducksch has been charged with drink-driving in Henley-in-Arden.
Warwickshire Police have confirmed the German was arrested after officers attended a report of a three-vehicle collision on the A3400 at around 10.30pm on April 6.
Ducksch, of Solihull, was charged on April 13 with drink driving and is due to appear before Warwickshire Magistrates in Leamington on May 20.
The club said in a statement: “Marvin wishes to apologise to his team-mates, staff and supporters of the club and accepts full responsibility for his actions.
“The matter has been dealt with internally and no further comment will be made at this time.”
