CHILDREN’S charity Variety is celebrating being chosen as The Village Hotel, Solihull’s partner charity for 2017 by hosting a ‘spectacular’ Summer Ball.
The Black and White Summer Ball will take place on Saturday, July 1 and will feature a three-course dinner and ‘fabulous’ entertainment to raise vital cash for the charity which supports sick, disabled and disadvantaged children through practical help, including Variety Sunshine Coaches, Variety wheelchairs and specialist equipment, in addition to creating memorable childhood experiences through the Variety Great Days Out programme.
Charlotte Allen, Regional Fundraising Manager for Variety, the Children’s Charity, said: “We are over the moon to have been chosen by the Village Hotel Solihull as their charity of the year for 2017.
“For many years, Variety has held its Children’s Christmas Parties at the Village Hotel and the team have always been incredibly helpful and have been fantastic supporters of the parties.
“Their enthusiasm is outstanding, and they want to do all that they can to raise vital funds.
“We really appreciate their support and look forward to attending their fabulous Summer Ball and to be working more closely with them throughout the year.”

“This year we have decided to host our own Summer Ball here at the Hotel to raise funds for Variety to help support the wonderful work they do and the difference they make to so many children’s lives and their families.”
