Birmingham Dogs Home issues funding plea as kennels reach capacity

FOLLOWING a challenging start to the year with desperate owners abandoning their dogs outside the charity’s gates, Birmingham Dog’s Home has reached maximum capacity with over 200 dogs residing in its kennels.

To help spread awareness, the charity will be attending Crufts where visitors can learn about adoption and sponsoring a kennel.

Fi Harrison, Head of Fundraising and Communications at Birmingham Dogs Home, said:  “There is no sign of the number of homeless dogs needing our help slowing down, so we are hugely grateful to everyone who chooses to adopt.”
