Beavers chip in to help those less fortunate

GENEROUS Beavers donated a table full of food to help local people who cannot afford to feed themselves.

The donations, collected by 1st Salter Street Scout Group, were handed over to Sparkhill Food Bank to provide people with a three day emergency supply of long-life food.

The Beaver Group spoke about what a food bank was and how it helps people in the community.

They also discussed why people and families may need this valued support and how the charity relies on donations.
