THE GIRLS Balsall Common Primary School Academy football team lifted the South Solihull Cup.
The Year 5 and Year 6 team were crowned champions at Solihull Moors FC following a 4-0 victory in the cup final.
Not only did they win they also finished the league with a 100 per cent-win record, 29 goals scored and only 1 goal conceded.
Team coaches say the cup final saw the team showcase exceptional skill, teamwork and determination from start to finish.
The first goal came early in the match, setting the tone for the team’s confidence and control over the game.
The team’s goalkeeper’s skills were called into action to maintain a clean sheet.
Miss Kefalas and Mr Reid, the team’s coaches, praised the players for their hard work and dedication.
They said: “We couldn’t be prouder of this team. Their commitment, teamwork, and passion for the game have led to this incredible achievement. They truly deserved this victory.”
