A KIND-HEARTED Hampton In Arden barber has vowed to donate his Monday earnings in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease.
Evans the Barber was inspired while cutting Matt Gallagher’s hair at the Marsh Lane shop.
On September 1 and 8 any hair cut takings will be donated to the Matt Gallagher Foundation which was set up in honour of the Solihull resident who was diagnosed with MND in 2023, collaborates with other MND charities, including the MNDA and My Name5 Doddie, to further its mission.
Matt Gallagher said: “Thank you very much to Jordan for his extreme generosity and very kind gesture which helps our family and the Foundation to raise awareness and funds for Motor Neurone disease in the West Midlands area.”
Jordan from Evans the Barber said: “Matt’s strength really inspired me, and I wanted to do something to show my support.
“This fundraiser is about supporting him and showing what we can do when the community comes together.
“Being a barber isn’t just about cutting hair—it’s about bringing a positive influence to the local community, which aligns perfectly with the Matt Gallagher Foundation.“
