BALSALL Common Lions will be out and about on Saturday, March 9, collecting items for the Foodbank.
People wanting to donate can leave their donations on their doorsteps or driveways before 11am for volunteers to pick up on their rounds.
Balsall Common Lions said: “In the current climate, even the foodbanks are suffering as people cannot afford to give as much, but the need is greater than ever.
“Please donate whatever you can, no matter how small.
“Any donation will be gratefully received.”
Among the items being sought by the small band of volunteers are any tinned food – vegetables, beans, soup, meat, fish; dried foods including pasta, pasta sauce, rice, cereals, and toiletries.
