BALSALL Common care home residents were pitch perfect when they filmed a special dementia friendly episode of Songs of Praise service.
Residents and staff from Harper Fields were invited to Lichfield Cathedral to take part in the BBC programme.
The service is scheduled to be broadcast on May 12, which marks the start of Dementia Action week, at 1.15pm.
One resident said: “It was the best performance I have seen in years, the music and atmosphere was so moving”
General manager, Hayley Wilkinson said: “Our residents and staff had a wonderful time.
“We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Harper Fields as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and this was one of our favourites”
