Attempted murder inquiry launched after man left with serious injuries in Solihull

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another was left seriously injured when struck by a car in Solihull.

A 42-year-old was hit on Jacobean Lane at around 9pm on Sunday (September 22).

West Midlands Police said he remains in hospital with serious injuries to his arms and legs.

A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.




He has been released pending further enquiries to determine whether the victim was deliberately driven at.
