A BIRTHDAY wish came true for a Solihull care home resident who went for a spin in an Aston Martin.
Megan Cottle had always wanted to have a ride in one of the luxury sports cars and her dream finally came true on her 90th birthday thanks to the staff at Harper Fields.
Megan said: “They were happy tears.
“It is such an amazing feeling to know that such a loving group of people care so much about me that they helped me to live out a dream.”
After finding out the staff contacted Aston Martin who put the wheels into motion ready for the big day.
Megan was accompanied by her friend Sarah.
Hayley Wilkinson, general manager at the home, said: “Staff at the home were delighted to be a part of making her dream come true, as they knew how much it meant to her, and they all wanted to be there to see the smile on Meg’s face.
“It was so nice to see how happy Megan was – and the staff loved being a part of this as well.”
