A COLOURFUL mural has been unveiled at a Solihull nursery.
Visual Arts students at Solihull Sixth Form College were commissioned to create the masterpiece for The Organic Nursery, based on the edge of the Widney Manor Road campus.
Kelle and Teresa from the Nursery briefed the group and made some tweaks ahead of the painting of the mural at the end of term.
Creative Arts Curriculum Leader Zoe Maksymiw said: “It has been so enjoyable working with staff at The Organic Nursery.
“The students have learned so much from the experience of working for a real client.
“Not only did they have to work together as a team, but they had to follow a brief and keep to an agreed timescale.
“Their mural is so colourful and welcoming and I’m delighted that I’ll be able to see their handiwork every day when I pass the nursery and come into College.”
