Arrive Alive welcomes 14th vehicle to continue life-saving work

ANOTHER vehicle has been added to the fleet of a life-saving charity.

A Solihull-based leasing company, which trades as runyourfleet, handed over the brand-new Kia XCeed Sportswagon to Arrive Alive.

The vehicle, which has been funded by donations made to Arrive Alive by its supporters, will now go on duty in the Warwickshire area.

Arrive Alive was founded by Debbie Roscoe following her youngest daughter Ellie’s life-threatening case of measles in 2017 and provides life-saving vehicles for community first responder teams to attend 999 calls.

Debbie said: “We are delighted to have received what is now our 14th responder vehicle.

“This latest car will enable community first responders that we support in North Warwickshire to be available to attend emergencies.

“Between June 2024 and March 2025, more than 2375 life-threatening 999 calls were attended to by an Arrive Alive vehicle following a 999 call. This means each vehicle is helping us to save multiple lives, and we want to send a huge thanks to all our supporters for the funds that make this possible.”

The new vehicle is the third to be delivered by runyourfleet, one of which it supplies free of charge in a sponsorship deal, with all the others funded by supporters.

Steve Whitmarsh, chief executive of runyourfleet, said: “We are delighted to support the fantastic work that Arrive Alive is doing with community fast responder groups across the Midlands.

“The service these people selflessly provide for their communities is amazing, and we are very happy to be playing our part.

“We would encourage other local companies looking to support a charity to consider sponsoring an extra vehicle for Arrive Alive, as they are helping to save so many lives every year.”
