SEVEN men have been arrested following a series of dawn raids.

West Midlands Police’s County Lines Taskforce carried out 14 drug warrants across Solihull, Birmingham and Sandwell on Tuesday (June 11).

The men aged 23, 26, 31, 40, 42, 46, and 57, were all arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.

Several phones thought to be used for drugs lines were seized at the properties and will be forensically investigated.

Detective Inspector Kay Thompson from the County Lines Taskforce, said: “Following enforcement carried out, we made significant arrests in our pursuit of targeting those involved in the supply of drugs.

“We will continued to pursue those involved in the supply of drugs because we know that it causes misery to our communities and it exploits vulnerable people.

“We are relentless in our fight against organised crime.”
