ARDEN students are celebrating a strong set of GCSE results.

And the total A grade (or equivalent) results once again exceeded the national average, with over 35 per cent of papers graded A* to A ( or equivalent).
Over six per cent of students achieved the new grade 9 result across maths and English, with ten per cent of English literature papers receiving the top mark – three times above the national average.
Among the top achievers were – Caitlin Hubbard, Kathryn Mackiewicz, Miranda Vaughan, Lucy Jones and Samuel Jones who all gained at least 6 A* or As (and the equivalent maths and English marks) in every one of their 10 GCSE subjects.
Headteacher Martin Muprhy described the results as ‘outstanding’ and ‘truly remarkable’.
