AN APPEAL has been launced after a 93-year-old woman was injured in a violent robbery in Shirley.
West Midlands Police said it recieved reports at around 3.20pm on Friday (March 17), that a man attacked the woman on Trinity Way before her mobility trolley was stolen.
The woman was left with facial injuries following the assault.
The man is described as being a white man and of stocky build.
The bike was spotted around Stratford Road and Park Gate about the time of the robbery, and police need help identifying him.
