POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a driver died more than three after he was involved in a car crash in Solihull.
Gerald Goddard died in hospital on January 4.
The 58-year-old from Solihull was involved in a crash on Saturday, September 17 on the Solihull Bypass, near to the junction with Lode Lane and Severn Star Road at around 10.30am.
The driver of the Ford Mondeo remained at the scene at the time and is continuing to help officers with their enquiries.
DC Claire Byrne from the Regional Collision Investigation Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Goddard at this tragic time.
“We are trying to find out exactly what happened that day and we want anyone who saw anything to contact us on 101 as soon as possible.”
