Appeal for dashcam footage after pedestrian hit by car in Acocks Green

POLICE are appealing for information and dashcam footage after a pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Acocks Green.

A man in his 40s was hit by a black VW Golf on Dolphin Lane on at 12.30pm Tuesday (November 17).

He was taken to University Hospital Birmingham in a critical condition.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisted police with enquiries.




The road was closed between Norland Road and Shirley Road while West Midlands Police forensically examined the scene.

West Midlands Police said: “We are urgently appealing for anyone with information or with dash cam footage to contact us, so we can piece together the moments leading to this collision.”
