ANTIQUES expert Kate Bliss will be on the look-out for unwanted treasures in Knowle.
The TV regular will be visiting The Royal British Legion on Warwick Road on March 6 and will be valuing jewellery, silver and watches for free from 11am until 4pm.
Kate, a familiar face on BBC’s Bargain Hunt, Flog It! and Secret Dealers, said: “I do hope people will drop by to see me. We have uncovered some beautiful items in Knowle at previous valuation days and very much hope to do so again.
“People often have exquisite pieces of jewellery, fine silver and designer time pieces which they are thinking of parting with. These free valuation days offer a perfect opportunity to find out more and, if people wish, they can enter their items to be sold at auction.”
Kate is a guest consultant for Hansons Auctioneers in Etwall, Derbyshire, which arranges the free Antiques Road Show-style valuation days. General antiques and collectables valuations can also be carried out in Knowle.
Charles Hanson, fellow TV celebrity and owner of Hansons, said: “Kate is hugely popular with our clients and an absolute expert in her field. Many fine items go under the hammer at Hansons and fetch excellent prices.”
