PEOPLE still searching for a New Year’s Resolution may have to ponder no more as Age UK Solihull is on the lookout for local daredevils for a parachute jump.
The jump, which takes place on Saturday (October 1) in Northamptonshire to tie in with International Older People’s Day, will see participants fall from up to 12,000 feet.
Should those deciding taking part raise £360 they will receive their jump for free of charge – depending on the type of jump they choose.
No experience is necessary and all training is provided.
Lorraine Hart, fundraising manager at Age UK Solihull, said: “Many of us think about doing something different as part of our New Year’s Resolutions.
“If you’ve always had a parachute jump on your bucket list, why not join us in the autumn for our parachute day.
“Our aim at Age UK Solihull is that ‘no one should have no one’.
“By taking part, money raised by doing a parachute jump for us will help make sure that older people in Solihull always have someone to turn to and are not left alone.”
