‘UP to 450 jobs’ are set to be created at the new Solihull-based headquarters of a national gym clothing company.
Gymshark, a fitness apparel brand, opened a 42,000 square foot facility in the Blythe Valley Park in Shirley on Monday (April 9).
The company says its HQ has the capacity for up to 450 new positions, with 150 new employees in the first 12 months.
Gymshark says it is on course to hit £100million turnover this year, having served more than 1.2 million customers in 177 countries worldwide and processed over 2.3 million orders to date.
Since its inception in 2012, the company has grown from humble beginnings in founder Ben Francis’ parents’ garage in Birmingham.
The new office space will offer employees an onsite cinema, yoga studios and treatment rooms.
