13-week-old puppy viciously kicked by a heartless man in Knowle Park.

A DISTRAUGHT dog-walker was left heart-broken when her 13-week-old puppy was viciously kicked in Knowle Park.

Lynne Squire, 56, was walking her son’s three dogs on October 20 when the Jack Russell puppy, Pippa, was attacked.

Inquisitive, full of energy and bursting with life, Pippa scampered towards a man walking through the park.

The man, described as tall, slim and his mid-60s, raised his leg and booted the flimsy puppy out of the way and carried on walking.

The Knowle resident said she couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the heartless man raise his foot.

She added: “It was like he was going for a penalty shoot out.

“He drew back his foot and booted poor Pippa about six feet in front of him – she landed at such a force.”

Desperate to catch him, other dog-walkers who witnessed the incident stepped in to stop him before he left the park.

But despite their best efforts he managed to get away.

Extremely worried, she rushed Pippa to the vets to get her checked over and find out the extent of the damage.

The injured puppy suffered severe swelling and bruising to her leg – and Lynne was told Pippa may have to have her leg amputated.
