HOMELESS dogs are looking for somewhere to rest their paws this Christmas.
Birmingham Dogs Home has teamed up with The Observer in the hope readers will find a paw-shaped place in their hearts and homes for a four-legged friend.
The charity has seen an influx of unwanted dogs this year with life-threatening and debilitating inherited conditions being left over the lockdown period.
However it has helped to rescue, reunite and rehome over 2,000 dogs this year.
The Catherine-De-Barnes centre has 12 homeless hounds they would love to see in a home.
Birmingham Dogs Home said: “They have all been waiting very patiently to find their “furever homes”.
“If you’re looking to rehome and rescue a dog in the New Year, book a visit today to meet some of our current residents and help give a local rescue dog the new start they deserve in 2022.”
Hera is a seven-year-old Rottweiler.
