HOMELESS dogs are looking for somewhere to rest their paws this Christmas.
Birmingham Dogs Home has teamed up with The Observer in the hope readers will find a paw-shaped place in their hearts and homes for a four-legged friend.
The charity has seen an influx of unwanted dogs this year with life-threatening and debilitating inherited conditions being left over the lockdown period.
However it has helped to rescue, reunite and rehome over 2,000 dogs this year.
The Catherine-De-Barnes centre has 12 homeless hounds they would love to see in a home.
Birmingham Dogs Home said: “They have all been waiting very patiently to find their “furever homes”.
“If you’re looking to rehome and rescue a dog in the New Year, book a visit today to meet some of our current residents and help give a local rescue dog the new start they deserve in 2022.”
Delilah is a two-year-old crossbreed who has spent half her life in and out of kennels and is wary with new people and situations but is a delight once she gets to know you.
She is highly energetic and is looking for an equally active family who enjoy teaching her new skills and support her with training.
Delilah perfect match would be adopters who love the outdoors just as much as she does, and who are looking for a dog that they can dedicate their life to.
