12 Dogs of Christmas - Big Friendly Giant Neo is looking for an active home

HOMELESS dogs are looking for somewhere to rest their paws this Christmas.

Birmingham Dogs Home has teamed up with The Observer in the hope readers will find a paw-shaped place in their hearts and homes for a four-legged friend.

The charity has seen an influx of unwanted dogs this year with life-threatening and debilitating inherited conditions being left over the lockdown period.

However it has helped to rescue, reunite and rehome over 2,000 dogs this year.

The Catherine-De-Barnes centre has 12 homeless hounds they would love to see in a home.

Birmingham Dogs Home said: “They have all been waiting very patiently to find their “furever homes”.

“If you’re looking to rehome and rescue a dog in the New Year, book a visit today to meet some of our current residents and help give a local rescue dog the new start they deserve in 2022.”

Neo is a two-year-old Bullmastiff.

He is a big friendly giant who is looking for an active home to call his own.

Due to his size and background, he needs a home with no children as sometimes he doesn’t realise, he size and power.

He could possibly live with a well-matched doggy friend who can handle his boisterous side.
