REVIEW - Knock your Valentines socks off at Turtle Bay

Correspondent 2nd Feb, 2023 Updated: 21st Feb, 2023   0

VALENTINES day is not usually a day myself and my partner celebrate.

Yes it’s nice to show appreciation for your loved one, but shouldn’t that be something that happens throughout the year?

But then I was invited to try Turtle Bay’s valentines bottomless dinners, and I couldn’t say no.

Caribbean restaurant and bar Turtle Bay Solihull have launched an inclusive celebration of love this Valentine’s season with friendship and romance taking equal billing as Galentine’s and Valentine’s Bottomless Dinners are on the menu, alongside dinner and drinks options too.

With the whole of Turtle Bay’s legendary cocktail menu included in the Bottomless Dinners it’s an excellent basis for toasting to love, life and laughter and finding your favourite flavours.

Highlights include the TB classic Reggae Rum Punch  and newer additions such as the Jamrock Punch and Tobago Tea, as well as creamy classics with a twist like the Koko Kolada or Coconut Espresso Martini.

Gals that Bay together stay together so Turtle Bay’s Galentine’s Bottomless Dinner is happening on Monday 13th February from 5pm.

Meanwhile for lovers that want to bring the magic of the Caribbean to their Valentine’s this year, Turtle Bay is also hosting a Valentine’s Bottomless Dinner from 12th – 14th February, from 5pm. Just like the Galentine’s option, it’s a chance to bring your new date, long-term lover, best pal, partner in crime.

The Galentine’s and Valentine’s bottomless dinners start at 5pm and are £43.50pp for two courses or £48.50pp for three courses,

The bottomless dinners come with any two or three dishes from Turtle Bay’s entire Caribbean-inspired menu.

I am a vegan so enjoyed the Trini Doubles to start and No Moo Burger as my main.

Both came quickly, and were delicious.

I wasn’t drinking on the evening, but I didn’t miss out on the cocktails as they have a large range of non-alcoholic ones to choose from.

Whether it’s a table for two, three, four or more, Caribbean good times are guaranteed at Turtle Bay.

The bottomless brunching doesn’t stop there.

Their famous bottomless brunch is more than just a boozy brunch.

It includes hours of unlimited cocktails, mocktails, Red Stripe and prosecco as well as any brunch dish, burger or roti.

There is also the option to upgrade to any dish on the menu.

The last sitting is 5pm Sunday until Friday and 3pm Saturday, from £32pp.
