Clare teal and Tom Millar jazz it up in Shipston and Kenilworth

JAZZ singer Clare Teal will be swinging into Shipston later this month.

She will paying her tribute to the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, Nina Simone, Nancy Wilson and Peggy Lee, with songs from masters including Cole Porter, Billy Strayhorn, Rodgers and Hammerstein.

The singer and broadcaster will perform at the Townsend Hall on Saturday September 30.

PIANIST, composer and bandleader Tom Millar plays Kenilworth Jazz Club on Monday October 2

Born in Australia, he grew up in London, and after reading music at King’s College, Cambridge, he studied jazz piano andcComposition at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and with Django Bates in Switzerland.


He has just released his debut album Unnatural Events.

Doors open at Kenilworth Rugby Club in Glasshouse Lane, at 7.15pm. Admission is £7.50.
