FOOTBALL - Knowle aim to halt losing streak against Inkberrow

Solihull Editorial 28th Jan, 2022   0

KNOWLE FC are aiming to end their three-game losing streak when they make the trip to Inkberrow this weekend.

The Solihull club are now 10 points behind leaders Cadbury Athletic whilst their opponents Inkberrow have failed to win their last two matches.

When these two sides met earlier in the season at Hampton Road, Inkberrow were unlucky not to take something from the game.

Knowle manager Clive Seeley said: “Inkberrow are, in my opinion, the best team we have played this season.

“They gave us a right going over at our place. They are unorthodox in tactics and in the way they set themselves up. It is going to be a tough afternoon.”

The only injury worry for Seeley is Ryan Andrews who hurt himself at work and is expected to be out for a few weeks.

With everyone at Hampton Road smarting over the way the game was thrown away last Saturday, the Manager and his team will be praying for a brighter start to the match on Saturday.

Entrance to Saturday’s match is FREE.

Knowle’s clash at Inkberrow takes place on Saturday, January 29 with kick-off at 2pm at Sands Road.
