Return all Solihull library books as click and collect services restart

Solihull Editorial 23rd Mar, 2021   0

BOOKWORMS are being asked to return any library books ahead of Solihull libraries restarting the click and collect service.

From March 29 most libraries across the borough will be offering the service to all readers – however they need the books already out on loan.

Solihull Council say it does not matter how long these books have been on loan for, or what condition they are in – they just need to be returned to a drop off trolley at any library branch from March 29.

No fines will be applied.

Library customers will be able to take out ten books for the usual three-week loan period when click and collect returns.

Forms for the service will be available on the Library Service web pages from March 19, where users can reserve timeslots and submit their book requests.

Anyone unable to use the online form can place an order by phoning 0121 704 8000.

If books are required for longer, customers will be able to renew on line or by calling any library branch during their advertised opening hours.

Please email [email protected] for any forgotten library card or pin details.

Opening hours for this service will vary between branches, please check for opening dates and times.

The service will resume at Marston Green Library on April 7, but Hampton-in-Arden Library will remain closed.
