HARRISON Morrow strengthened his bid for the 2026 Super Classic Formula Ford Championship following some determined driving at Donington Park.

The Solihull teenager qualified lower than expected after traffic hampered his fastest laps.

However, the 17-year-old recovered in both races to maintain his Championship advantage ahead of more experienced Formula Ford drivers.

Morrow lost ground at the beginning of the first race but fought back through the field to bring the car home in the points.

And the teenager adapted his driving style in the second race to match the pace of the front runners and finished ahead of his closest title rival.

Morrow avoided trouble in two incident-packed races, which featured several high-profile incidents involving other front-running drivers, to bring his Reynard home without damage.

Morrow said: “It wasn’t the easiest weekend, but that’s part of Championship racing.

“We learned a lot, adapted the car and my driving between races, and came away still leading the championship.

“That’s what matters.”

Morrow leads the Championship by 16 points with four races remaining.
