KNOWLE kept their title bid on track with a home victory against Lutterworth Athletic as the Robins returned to winning ways.
Second-half goals from Connor Mort and Talib Copeland sealed the points for Knowle at the Draintech Community Ground.
The result means the Robins sit second in the Midland Football League Division One table, three points behind Gornal Athletic with two games in hand.
Knowle eventually broke the deadlock on 67 minutes when Mort drove forward from inside his own half into the Lutterworth box and saw a shot loop into the net via the aid of a deflection.
And the Robins doubled their lead three minutes later as Copeland lashed a first time effort into the bottom left corner from just inside the penalty area from Hayden Purves’ cutback.
Knowle are next in action against Stapenhill on Tuesday, March 24 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Maple Grove.
