CRICKETERS are limbering up ahead of a charity match this weekend.
Knowle and Dorridge All Stars will be going head to head on Sunday (August 10) with the Matt Gallagher Foundation to raise vital funds.
From noon there will be plenty of offer including a live DJ, a raffle and a barbecue at Knowle and Dorridge Cricket Club.
This is the second time the teams have come together in aid of the Matt Gallagher Foundation, which aims to raise awareness about motor neurone disease (MND) and provide immediate support.
The foundation, set up in honour of the Solihull resident who was diagnosed with MND in 2023, collaborates with other MND charities, including the MNDA and My Name5 Doddie, to further its mission.
Hollie-Mae Gallagher, charity manager at the foundation, said last year the cricket event raised more than £10,000 and hopes to build on the success this year.
