SOLIHULL Moors have signed striker Dan Creaney from National League rivals Tamworth.
The 30-year-old spent six seasons with Tamworth where he scored 108 goals in 202 appearances for the Lambs.
He finished joint-third in the National League goalscoring charts last season after finding the net on 19 occasions.
Creaney said: “I’ve loved my time at Tamworth and want to thank everyone there but this is such an exciting challenge.
“I spoke to the gaffer here, spoke with Stephen Ward and they are so passionate about what Solihull Moors can achieve and I want to be part of that.
“There are so many good things happening around the club and I can’t wait to start an exciting new chapter here.”
Moors head coach, Matt Taylor added: “Dan has a proven scoring record at this level.
“He also works hard and links things up and he still has that hunger to do well.
“We are so pleased that he sees his future here and we look forward to working with him when the players report back this week.
“I’m sure the fans are looking forward just as much as we are to seeing him in a Moors shirt.”
Creaney also helped Tamworth reach the third round of the FA Cup last season where they were beaten by Tottenham Hotspur after extra time.
He departs Tamworth as the club’s ninth all-time top goalscorer.
Creaney scored more than 40 goals as Tamworth won the Southern League Premier Central title in 2022/23.
And Creaney helped the Lambs achieve back-to-back promotions after Tamworth won the National League North in 2023/24.
