SOLIHULL Moors youngster Fin Holmes has signed a new contract to remain with the club next season.
Holmes spent time on loan at Halesowen Town and Bromsgrove Sporting last season.
Moors recalled Holmes from his loan at Sporting in the Southern League Premier Central last season where he scored five goals in 17 appearances.
Holmes said: “I’m delighted to sign for another year.
“I’m grateful to the gaffer for the opportunity and am determined to make the most of this opportunity and really show what I can do.
“I’ve loved it ever since I joined the Moors. I went out to Halesowen and then Bromsgrove last season which I really enjoyed.
“I think I played about 20 senior games on loan last season and a couple at Moors and that’s all about learning the physical side and getting used to playing in senior football.
“Now the aim has to be to perform every time I get a chance in a Moors shirt and show people what I can do.”
Moors head coach, Matt Taylor added: “As with Kian, we recalled Fin so we could see him close up at the end of last season and his reward for his hard work is a new deal where he can truly prove his value in and around the first team squad.
“There has been a clear pathway established here and I want to continue that and help it grow.
“If we can produce our own players and add other young players to that at the right time then we are in for a very bright future.”
