SOLIHULL Moors have made defender Brad Nicholson the club’s first signing of the summer.
Nicholson helped Boston United stay in the National League last season and has now decided to make the move to Damson Park.
The 26-year-old central defender becomes head coach Matt Taylor’s first addition of the transfer window.
Nicholson said: “I came in and met Matt and Stephen Ward, had a look at the facilities and heard what they want to do with the club and I knew straight away that this is where I wanted to play.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time at Boston and I am grateful to them but this is an exciting move for me and I can’t wait to get started.”
Taylor added: “He’s a strong character and an excellent defender.
“He has been on our radar for a while and it’s fantastic that he wants to come and join us and be part of what we are trying to build.
“He’s a winner who plays with his heart on his sleeve and I think the fans will always back a player who gives 100 per cent.”
He began his career with Chesterfield before helping Boston win promotion to the National League in 2023/24.
Nicholson swapped Boston for Scunthorpe United last summer only to return to the Pilgrims in February earlier this year.
