SOLIHULL Moors captain Jamey Osborne has signed a new long-term deal with the club ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The 31-year-old helped Moors reach both the Promotion Final and FA Trophy final last season as Solihull cruelly lost both matches on penalties at Wembley.
Osborne, in his second permanent spell with the club since his return to Damson Park in 2018, became club captain at the start of the previous campaign.
Moors boss Andy Whing said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Ozzy has signed a new contract with us.
“On the pitch everybody can see what a top player he is and what he gives us but also off the pitch he is absolutely brilliant whether that’s at the training ground or visits with the Solihull Moors Foundation.
“I’m really looking forward to working with our captain again next season and hoping for another successful and enjoyable campaign.”
The midfielder led Moors out at Wembley for the first time in the club’s history in the Promotion Final and scored a fine goal to take the game to a penalty shootout.
Osborne has made more than 200 appearances for the club across two spells and scored six goals in 42 games last season.
