A MENTAL health campaign encouraging men across Coventry and Warwickshire to talk about how they feel has been recognised.
The ‘It Takes Balls to Talk’ campaign by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust has helped more than 1,000 men since it began in 2016.
It uses sport to help those suffering with their mental health.
And the campaign was recognised at the Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire Sports Awards where it won the wellbeing award.
Campaign founder Alex Cotton said: “We started the campaign with the aim of helping men in sporting clubs who were suffering with mental health, speak up and seek help.
“In three years we have provided people with help and advice when they need it most, and this award helps to highlight some of the amazing work the campaign does.”
